If You Are Going to Katonah, New York...Check Out Some Local Gardens

I already shared the Katonah Art Museum in the previous post, but there are other things to do nearby. 

*We have not been since early June, so I am not sure what is in bloom right now*



If you are into gardens; John Jay Homestead.

While you're here, you can take a stroll around the many public gardens at the Homestead. The gardens, like the rest of the grounds, are open daily from sunrise to sunset, and are maintained by several local garden clubs. (My favorite was the Herb Garden.)

The house and other buildings are closed for the season/renovations, but the gardens are lovely. 

Another one we love to walk around is Lasdon Park and Arboretum.

oh...and dinosaurs. If you have littles who like dinos, take a stroll amongst the residents in the Dinosaur Garden.
